Superheroes and villains ratings
Marvel, DC, Invincible and The Boys, plus an "others" pool for the characters with no universe of their own: Star Wars, Harry Potter, the Transformers, the Ninja Turtles, Spawn and the horror icons. Heroes and villains fill separate roster spots, so every draft needs both.
How these ratings are built
These are rated on raw power, on one scale across every universe, which is the only way a Marvel draft and a DC draft can be compared at the end. Galactus and the Sentry sit at the top, Hawkeye and Kick-Ass at the bottom, and a street-level character is not punished for being interesting rather than strong. Every rating here is an editorial call. That is deliberate and it is the argument the mode is for.
Every rating in this category runs on the same 40 to 99 scale the rest of the game uses. There are 302 entries here across 10 pools. In the game itself these numbers stay hidden until the verdict screen, which is the whole point of the auction; this page is the reference copy, for settling arguments after the fact.
