NBA ratings

2026-27 rosters after one of the strangest offseasons the league has had, split by position, plus head coaches, who are their own small and very opinionated pool. The all-time greats sit behind the same positions, which is where the real arguments start.

How these ratings are built

Current players carry their NBA 2K27 launch overall and keep their 2025-26 per-game line (points, rebounds, assists, games) next to it. Coaches are editorial, because 2K does not rate them and no box score does either. Anyone 2K has not rated, including rookies, is editorial and labelled that way. Every all-time rating is an editorial call made to be shouted at.

Every rating in this category runs on the same 40 to 99 scale the rest of the game uses. There are 383 entries here across 6 pools. In the game itself these numbers stay hidden until the verdict screen, which is the whole point of the auction; this page is the reference copy, for settling arguments after the fact.
