Daily drivers ratings
Camry to Corolla to Model 3, plus the wagons, hatchbacks, minivans and pickups people actually bought. The only car class in the game where being fast is close to irrelevant, and the one where a sensible saloon can be a 99.
How these ratings are built
Daily drivers are the one car class not rated on performance, because performance is not what a daily driver is for. They are scored on how good they are at being a daily driver, judged against the other dailies of their own decade: reliability, running costs, practicality, comfort, safety and how little the thing asks of the person who owns it. That is an editorial call and the basis line on every card says so. Power and 0-60 figures are still listed here as background, but they do not feed the rating: a 1995 Camry outranks plenty of quicker cars, which is the correct answer.
Every rating in this category runs on the same 40 to 99 scale the rest of the game uses. There are 184 entries here across 7 pools. In the game itself these numbers stay hidden until the verdict screen, which is the whole point of the auction; this page is the reference copy, for settling arguments after the fact.
