Comedy ratings
Airplane! to Barbie. Comedy is the genre where critics and crowds agree least often, and that gap is the entire point of drafting it: the film everyone quotes is not always the film that reviewed well.
How these ratings are built
The rating blends a film's Letterboxd audience average and its Metacritic critic score, standardised within comedy, ranked inside the genre and curved onto 40-99. Because comedies are reviewed more harshly than almost anything else, ranking within the genre rather than against all films is what keeps a beloved dumb comedy from being rated below a mediocre drama.
Every rating in this category runs on the same 40 to 99 scale the rest of the game uses. There are 188 entries here across 6 pools. In the game itself these numbers stay hidden until the verdict screen, which is the whole point of the auction; this page is the reference copy, for settling arguments after the fact.

All-time
40 in this pool, from Fargo at 99 down to The Naked Gun: From the Files of Police Squad! at 91.
This is the all-time pool. It takes the best of every decade and re-spreads them across the full 40-99 range among themselves, so an all-time draft has the same shape as a decade draft. That is why an entry here carries a different number from the one it has in its own decade table above.
